KOTAI KC230H Landfill Compactor Successfully Dispatched

The 23‑ton KC230H landfill compactor, developed and manufactured by Qingdao Kotai Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd., has completed complete‑machine commissioning and factory acceptance inspection. Fully assembled and packed for shipment, it is about to depart for South America.

The KC230H is a self‑propelled articulated four‑roller heavy‑duty landfill compactor with an operating mass of 23,000 kg. Driven by a Shangchai engine with a rated power of 192 kW, it delivers robust power and 100% gradeability, fully adapting to high‑load and complex working conditions of landfill sites.

Fitted with high‑strength wear‑resistant cutting teeth, the machine reaches a spreading and compaction depth of over 1 meter with superior compaction density. Equipped with an ultra‑wide and ultra‑high dozer blade, it can push and compact waste at the same time. Serving dual functions, it greatly improves the operating efficiency of landfills. Adopting a WG‑type torque converter and power‑shift gearbox, as well as PR75‑37 heavy‑tonnage drive axles with rear‑wheel proportional differential lock, this four‑wheel‑drive machine can continuously output power even when wheels slip, boasting excellent site mobility.

In terms of maintenance and operator experience, the KC230H is equipped with a centralized automatic lubrication system, which performs regular automatic lubrication for 12 key points and effectively reduces maintenance working hours. The activated‑carbon filter device isolates harmful gases from landfills to safeguard drivers’ health. Meanwhile, it is configured with a stainless‑steel disinfectant tank and powered spraying disinfection mechanism to eliminate mosquitoes and insects on‑site, achieving both environmental protection and operational sanitation.
