KOTAI Heavy Industry’s KP266H pneumatic‑tyred roller has completed full‑unit factory inspection and commissioning acceptance, and has been officially dispatched. It will be transported to the project site for road construction.

The KP266H is KOTAI’s mainstream 26‑ton pneumatic‑tyred roller. It is widely used for compaction operations on asphalt surfaces of high‑grade highways, airport runways, ports, dams and earth‑fill projects. Powered by a high‑power 140 kW Weichai electronic fuel‑injection engine, it features abundant power reserve and adapts to complex working conditions such as plateaus and high‑temperature environments. Equipped with the full‑hydraulic drive system from Germany’s Linde, it provides stepless speed change with smooth start‑stop, delivering uniform compaction and high pavement flatness.

The machine is fitted with a four‑stage braking system (service brake, parking brake, emergency brake and auxiliary brake) for multi‑level safety protection. It adopts a full‑floating front‑wheel structure with a 5+6 tire configuration. The compaction width is 2750 mm, ground pressure ranges from 250‑420 kPa, and the front‑wheel swing stroke reaches 45 mm. It effectively eliminates compaction blind zones and achieves outstanding kneading compaction performance on asphalt pavements. It is equipped with a fully‑enclosed cabin with heating & cooling air‑conditioning and a dual‑seat dual‑control system to facilitate edge compaction work. The tilt‑up engine cover ensures convenient and efficient after‑sales maintenance. Optional pavement temperature monitoring system and fuel cold‑start heater are available to adapt to various construction environments.
