1. Fully hydraulic drive, uniform compaction density, high flatness
Traditional hydraulic mechanical transmission rubber wheel rollers require mechanical transmission for gear shifting, which causes power interruption and attenuation. The impact of gear shifting reduces the smoothness and uneven density of the road surface, which is not allowed in high-grade road construction.
In order to improve the smoothness of asphalt pavement during re compaction, the fully hydraulic rubber wheel roller has emerged. Kotai's fully hydraulic rubber wheel roller adopts patented technology of closed static hydraulic drive, which can achieve continuously variable speed and automatic shifting, ensuring consistent forward and backward speed, no power interruption in reversing, small reversing impact, improving the smoothness of asphalt pavement, uniform pavement density, and effectively solving the problems of wrinkling and rolling during pavement compaction. At present, all asphalt pavement compaction construction processes require the use of fully hydraulic rubber tired rollers.

3. Tire anti sticking device, safe, reliable, and economical
During the process of compacting asphalt pavement, the compaction temperature should be above 120 ℃, generally not lower than 90 ℃. The surface of the tire is prone to bonding with high-temperature asphalt, and the compacted pavement may have potholes and unevenness. The bonding material needs to be removed and re compacted. During construction, there is usually an oiler or sprayer specialized in applying oil to the surface of the tires.

4.1 Driving hydraulic system
The renowned Danvers closed hydraulic transmission system, coupled with a specially designed drive axle, forms a perfect walking transmission system. The hydraulic motor is a two-point variable motor with electronic control, forming a two speed continuously variable transmission combination, which can easily adapt to the speed and traction requirements of various working conditions.
This car adopts a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic variable motor to form a hydraulic transmission system, and designs and adopts a structure that integrates the drive axle and gearbox. Together with the hydraulic system, the overall transmission system effectively solves the contradiction between performance and cost. The whole machine has outstanding advantages such as good low-speed load characteristics, high work efficiency, full power utilization, simple system structure, easy maintenance, lightweight operation, high speed rigidity, and easy action implementation.
The travel pump changes the flow and direction of high-pressure oil by controlling the angle of the inclined plate through a manual servo valve (operating handle) to alter the direction and speed of the machine's travel; The variable displacement piston motor controls the angle of the inclined plate through an electromagnetic valve, allowing the machine to have two speeds to adapt to different working conditions such as driving and compaction.
4.2 Steering Hydraulic System
The steering hydraulic system adopts a closed circuit with a working pressure of 140 bar. It consists of a steering pump, a fully hydraulic steering gear, a priority valve, a steering cylinder, and oil pipes. The front wheels are driven by a tilting and swinging bracket driven by the steering cylinder to turn.
5. Four level braking system, safe and reliable
In order to ensure the operation and driving safety of the tire roller, there are four types of braking systems: service braking, parking braking, emergency braking, and auxiliary braking.
5.1 Service brakes
The driving brake adopts static hydraulic braking. Hydraulic braking is achieved by controlling the driving control lever. When the control valve controlled by the travel control lever returns to the neutral position, the flow supplied by the travel pump to the travel motor decreases to zero, causing the roller to stop running.
5.2 Parking brake
When the road roller is driving or working, the normally closed multi disc brake controlled by hydraulic on the rear axle is in the open state and does not have braking effect. When the roller is parked, the multi disc brake locks the friction plate through spring force and is in a braking state.
5.3 Emergency braking
Emergency braking is mainly hydraulic servo braking, supplemented by mechanical braking. After pressing the emergency brake button, the inclined plate of the driving oil pump immediately returns to zero position, generating hydraulic braking; At the same time, the rear axle crane also quickly generated braking action.
Attention: Emergency braking should not be used in non emergency situations, especially during rapid driving.
5.4 Auxiliary braking
Auxiliary braking is achieved by installing four drum brakes on the rear wheels, which can be used alone or in combination with hydrostatic braking. The two form a "double safety" system, making braking safer and more reliable. The working process of drum brakes is to step on the foot brake and activate the four drum brakes installed on the rear wheels through the brake valve and booster to achieve emergency braking.
6. The front wheels are fully floating, ensuring even compaction
The bogie is supported by upper and lower bearings and installed on the frame. The swing frame swings by the middle pin shaft. The five tires are divided into three groups: 2, 2, and 1. There are also pin supports in the middle of each pair, which can achieve small-scale swinging. Two steering cylinders are connected to the central axis to achieve steering.
