Why add nitrogen gas?

There are two interfaces at both ends of the gas meter, with the large port D connected to the nitrogen tank and the small port 2 connected to the crushing hammer. The gas meter also has a circular pressure knob 3, which is used to measure air pressure!
Install the nitrogen gauge on the filler screw and start measuring the pressure. To ensure that the screws of interface Q are installed, press the circular pressure button 3 to measure the nitrogen pressure inside the crushing hammer.
Step 4, connect the nitrogen cylinder
Lift the circular pressure knob 3 and reset the nitrogen meter to zero. Then open the screws of interface D and connect the nitrogen meter and nitrogen cylinder. Here, all preparations are ready.
Step 5, add nitrogen to the crushing hammer
Open the valve of the nitrogen cylinder, fill it for a while and then close it, then open and close it again to cycle. Pay attention to the pressure of the nitrogen gauge at all times until it reaches the appropriate pressure.
How much nitrogen should be added?
How much nitrogen should be added is a concern for many excavator operators. The more nitrogen is added, the greater the pressure in the energy storage device, and the optimal working pressure of the energy storage device may vary slightly depending on the specifications and models of the crushing hammer and external climate conditions. Normally, the pressure value should be around 1.4-1.6 megapascals (approximately equivalent to 14-16 kilograms).
What will happen if there is less nitrogen?
If the nitrogen addition is insufficient, the pressure in the energy storage device cannot meet the requirements, which will cause the crusher to be weak in striking. And it will cause damage to the important component of the energy storage device, the leather bowl. If the leather bowl is damaged, repairing it requires a more complicated and costly overall dissection. Therefore, when adding nitrogen, it is necessary to pay attention to adding sufficient pressure value.
What will happen if there is too much nitrogen?
Since insufficient nitrogen will affect the performance of the crushing hammer, is it better to add more nitrogen? The answer is negative. If too much nitrogen is added, the pressure inside the accumulator will be too high, and the hydraulic oil pressure will not be enough to push the cylinder rod upward to compress nitrogen. The accumulator will not be able to store energy, and the crusher will not work.

When adding nitrogen, it is necessary to use a pressure gauge to measure the pressure, so that the pressure of the energy storage device can be controlled within the normal range, and slight adjustments can be made according to the actual operating conditions. Essential tips for using a crushing hammer
In order to better use the crushing hammer, we need to follow the following points:
1. Before use, it is necessary to conduct a walk around inspection of the crushing hammer and check whether the high and low pressure hoses are loose or leaking oil.
2. During use, ensure the stability of the excavator, minimize vibration, and improve the accuracy of striking.
3. Do not press the hammer too hard, and also do not hit the hammer empty. Ensure that the hammer is firmly attached to the stone and do not lift the tracks to avoid damage to the vehicle body.
4. While striking stones, it is important to mentally think about which stone to target next and choose the appropriate hammer surface.
5. According to different stones, the impact frequency of the crushing hammer can be adjusted. For example, small stones and cement blocks can modulate the frequency faster, while large blocks and mountain roots need to modulate the frequency slower to improve work efficiency.
6. When breaking, the hammer head should be slightly pressed forward with a larger hammer, so that the stone will generally fly forward to avoid damage to the car body and glass.
7. When drilling harder materials such as cement and mountain roots, do not blindly drill down to avoid damaging the hammer head. The action of the sledgehammer should be stopped after the hammer head is firmly held, and the falling material should be cleaned before continuing.
8. Regularly check the pressure and flow rate of the crushing system, as well as whether nitrogen is sufficient, and regularly replace the hydraulic oil filter element to maintain the normal operation of the hydraulic system.

1. Due to the harsh working environment of the crusher, proper maintenance is necessary. Proper maintenance can reduce malfunctions and extend the service life of the machine.
2. Before use, check whether the relevant bolts are loose, whether the connecting pin shaft is excessively worn, whether the gap between the drill rod and the bushing is normal, and whether there is any oil leakage or other issues.
3. Lubrication points need to be lubricated in a timely manner, and they also need to be lubricated after 2-3 hours of continuous operation.
4. Due to different working environments, the quality of hydraulic oil can change. The quality of hydraulic oil is usually judged based on the color change of the oil. When the oil quality deteriorates severely, the oil should be replaced and the oil tank and filter cleaned.
